Emerald Sol

Spring break 2026, we had a wonderful stay. 2 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs, everything worked out great. The location is incredible, the house was clean, the beautiful public beach is just up the block. Lots to do all around. We were able to check in early, had to call for a maintenance issue and the managers were there in less than 20 min. The pool was great for the kids, we did not have to share as there was no one at the other unit. Toys available for the beach. Rented a golf cart from the property manager at a discounted rate. The only negative I can add is that the house has definitely been well used, it’s in much rougher shape than the pictures and the trundle bed is not comfortable.

The place was perfect for us. We enjoyed it immensely. Very close to all the beaches, restaurants, and shops without being on the main drag. We highly recommend it.

Small but very cozy. Felt like home. The master bed and couch were very comfortable. Pool is small but much fun…enjoyed it to the fullest. Many swimming floats available. Vey close beach access. Walking distance definitely. The only thing I would have enjoyed more is having some kitchen spices/cooking oil/basic coffee essentials, etc. Other than that, my family and I were very pleased. Definitely would like to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Sol. The unit was great and provided everything that we needed to enjoy our vacation. Perfect spot super close to the beach and we paid extra to heat the pool which was amazing for late night swimming! House was nice perfect for what we needed it for. Extra bonus it’s pet friendly so our dog enjoyed her stay too!

Great place to stay - proximity to beach was excellent. We brought our pet so having lots of paved walkways to walk the dog was a plus. Unfortunately could not bring pet to the beach due to county regulations - not the renter's fault but something to keep in mind if you bring a pet. The pool was a great amenity to have as the water was too cold to swim in at the beach - pool was heated for additional fee, but Glass Casa was extremely responsive and prompt when we requested for pool to be heated - they were there within the hour! Loved the deck out front to lounge in the sun or have breakfast. The place was perfect for 4 adults and a dog! Bed mattresses were very comfortable! The kitchen was adequate for cooking meals, and there were also 2 barbecue grills by the pool. Loved having access to the beach chairs, boogie boards and wagon - made it easy to bring supplies to the beach! Overall fantastic place to stay especially if you're traveling with your fur baby!

We recently stayed in the Emerald Sol house. There were eight people that stayed and we managed only having 1 bathroom the entire week...we were a little scared about this! I would definitely like to try and rent the 2 houses together next time to be able and have pool access whenever instead of sharing the time with another family. I just feel like this would be more personal. But, overall, everything went well. The house is so close to the beach which is excellent! We rented a golf cart and were basically able to use it the whole week instead of driving car because everything we needed was pretty close. This was an ideal location, with easy access to the beach with multiple attractions in the area. Easy walk to nearby market and restaurants along the beach. We really enjoyed having a pool at the property and that it was on a dead end street with minimal traffic. The house had everything we needed and more. Home was just as described, less than 5 min walk from the beach, private pool, grills for BBQ, a share shed with all the pool toys you'll ever need, and off street parking on a dead end street made for little traffic. We like to cook and make most of our meals. Kitchen had everything we needed. My only complaint, dogs are NOT allowed on the beach unless you own property. We take our dog everywhere and he loves the beach. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering it was quiet due to off season and COVID. I understand this has nothing to do with the rental but still important to know.

We loved all the extras play items in the storage shed. Much of it was left over from families. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, kites, frisbees, buckets, shovels, crab nets, pool floats. Also, the credit for rentals at Livewell 30-A was awesome. We had 4 bikes delivered for the entire week along with a wagon and a much stronger boogie board. Oh, don’t forget to use your Explorie pass for a free daily activity. Best rental experience we have had in Destin so far.

It had everything you needed to make your vacation comfortable. We did have a little mishap with the code lock after hours and they responded promptly and had us back in the house in 45 minutes. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend friends to stay here as well.

It was in a great location and very close to the beach. We had a wonderful time! The pool is one of the best pools we've been in! A few things to consider when choosing this house:- while the beach access is very close, it has a lot of stairs (38 to be exact)- the sheets and pillows on the beds weren't our favorite. we ended up buying some others bc we couldn't sleep the first night.- the furniture is a little sparse (like no end tables or just one bedside table)- no lamps in the living room so only overhead lighting- a rug in the living room would have been a great added piece but def not a concern- there are two beach chairs for porch furniture so we used some beach chairs, no tables on the porch There is great internet! TWO built in grills! And did I mention how amazing the pool is?! We will definitely be staying here again! We will just bring our sheets and pillows and hope for some new porch furniture!

We used the free pass for a couple of fun activities. Would highly recommend staying here. There were for of us girls staying here and there wasn’t a problem with just having one bathroom. King size bed was very comfortable. My daughter said that the lower bunk was good but the upper one was too hard and the trundle was springy according to my daughters friend. They slept in the bedroom anyways. Overall a cutie patootie of a place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is the perfect size for a family or two to stay in! We absolutely loved the house and how it felt like a home away from home. The starter pack we were provided, dishwasher soap, Palmolive, etc., was a very nice touch to the house. The floors were a little hard to keep clean of sand, but you can expect that of at any house near the beach. The broom came in super handy. We loved this home.

Reviewer Comments: Not quite as nice as the condos at Majestic Sun, that we rented, but this was pet friendly and just right for our 2 rat terriers, It was clean comfortable and convenient to the rest of our family. I would rent again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed out stay at Emerald Sol. The condo was just a short walk to the beach and really carried that beachy vibe, well maintained and clean. It was comfortable and cozy and we had plenty of room for 3 adults and 4 kids. Everything you need is a short drive away, i.e. grocery store, fast food, restaurants, entertainment, gas station.... The only thing we wished we had access to was a larger frying pan and the trash was full when we arrived but maintenance came quickly to empty it, however when we returned we couldn't find the trash receptacle anywhere.

The cottage was conveniently located a block from the beach, but away from traffic. It was a quick walk to the grocery store and yogurt shop. It was a great place for an early morning run. The cottage was amply supplied with linens and kitchen necessities. It was a great weekend get-away!

We stayed here in April for our Anniversary and had an absolutely wonderful time! The area is nice and quiet, but just a stroll away from all of the action. The property has been well taken care of and is in a great safe area. Decorated in a cute, cottage style theme..and also open and airy. Just a few steps from the beach!
